1. Tho' they wandered through the wilderness,
God rained down manna every day;
To his children He showed faithfulness,
Conquering hunger all the way.

Chorus: Heav'nly manna, gift from above,
Bread and manna, given with love.
Heav'nly manna, sweet as morning dew;
God's holy Word is ever true.

2. Tho' some dwelled without much gratitude
God sent His Son as living bread;
As they ate, their spirits were renewed,
And with His word they could be fed.

3. We can now be nourished as they were,
As we digest the words of Christ;
Promises of God help us endure,
With the sustaining bread of life.

4. Praise the name of Him who made us whole,
With manna to fulfill our needs,
Sending Christ, the bread to feed our souls,
And Scripture that can ever lead.
